Shelmet has been servicing the recycling community since 1983.
Located in Lake Worth, Florida we handle over 90 million
pounds of scrap and prime metal per year.  We are a full service
business and offer a wide variety of assistance for our customers.
Our freight department can help you with all your shipment needs.
If you need an enclosed van, flatbed trailer or dump truck you can
call our freight manager for assistance.  We can even help you
with those difficult overseas shipments.

Shelmet can also help your cash flow with payment terms to suit your needs. 
Although our standard payment is net 30 days we offer payment terms as fast
as the day your material delivers.  Most importantly, we pride ourselves getting
your payments as promised.

Also, our four broker/traders can help you buy and sell your material. We have
long-term relationships with suppliers and consumers all over North America
as well as export markets in Asia and Europe.  Whether you are looking to move
aluminum, copper stainless steel or brass, we can handle it.  If your materials form
is clips, wires, sows ingots, bales, boxed or loose, we can handle it.  Our staff is
experienced and located in the same office, so you can expect a quick response to
all of your questions.
